ABOUT US

Ignite the Night is an annual contemporary Christian music festival, held during the month of June at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds located in Leonardtown, MD.  Its aim is to bring the youth and families of Southern Maryland and beyond together for a FREE event featuring music, drama, and special speakers.  Our first four events (2008-2011) were a tremendous success!  In 2009, the Dove Award winning band, DecembeRadio ignited the crowd with a blistering performance.  In 2010, Curvine poured out his heart with a passion and urgency that is seldom seen in artists of this day; impressing upon a generation to shake off the shackles and step off the conveyer belt of Pop Culture.  And finally, last year, Ignite the Night introduced several new upcoming bands from the local area.
